HOPPETY KANGAROO (WORLD TRAVELLER) GOES...TO CANADA

Synopsis

Hoppety, an Australian Kangaroo, has been invited to Canada by his penpal Connie the Moose. Despite making elaborate plans, Hoppety forgets to buy a plane ticket. While he is deciding what to do, help comes in the unexpected form of an owl, a cat and a hot air balloon.

His new friends take him to India where he does a bit of sightseeing but while there he has to be rescued from a herd of stampeding Indian elephants. He is rescued by an Indian man called Rajiv, on a magic flying carpet, who gives him a turban. Rajiv drops him off in Jamaica where Hoppety meets the locals. However, a hurricane comes along and Hoppety has to be flown to safety by a sheet of zinc called Zinky, via the magic powers of Rajiv’s gift, the turban. Hoppety finally gets to Canada and resolves to see more of the world, beginning with Canada.
