SCENERY
As a drop of water hangs over a cup of sodium
The threat of dehydration blows away in pieces of thirst
The photo slips through its frame just before it falls down
Swirling on and on by the wind created seconds ago
I see the scenery right before me, before my eyes
The painting with the flower head, which tries to escape
Maybe she’ll come to me today or else, maybe tomorrow
Because time is liquid now, unimportant
As the drop of water becomes smaller and stops existing
The threat of the explosion fades into fragments of sparks
The photo hits the ground where it becomes ten years older
The thick layer of dust turns the one thing once created by light
Into darkness
And the frame,
The frame just feels empty.
