STUPID COUNTRIES
Although the threats we face,
Have much to do with faith and race,
You can't deny the strongest case,
For peace will come from time and space,
And though the global powers-that-be,
Have failed to learn from history,
There's more to this dichotomy
Than God.
For the only way to please him,
Is to be the man who sees him,
In a light that shines like nothing else before.
Those that follow his every word
Will never be free like the bird,
Who flies above the earth forever more.
So make a break and take a stand,
Renew your notions about land,
Separate your future from the past.
Because if you continue,
To split this one world in two,
What we call mankind will not last,
What we call mankind will not last.
Just because the threats we face ,
Have much to do with faith and race,
You must believe the strongest case,
For peace will come via time and space,
And though the superpowers-that-be,
Have failed to learn from history,
There's more to this dichotomy
Than war;
For every child that throws a stone,
Lives in their own neutral zone
But they know the names of borders all around.
And for every fence erected,
Division's resurrected,
Put your hands upon your head and hit the ground,
Put your hands upon your head and hit the ground.
I have it on good authority,
That wars help the economy,
Money is what makes the world go round,
But when it all gets out of hand,
Because of minerals and land,
There is no easy way out to be found,
There is no easy way out to be found.
Although the threats we face,
Have much to do with faith and race,
You can’t deny the strongest case,
For peace will come through time and space,
And though the major powers-that-be,
Have failed to learn from history,
There’s more to this dichotomy
Than hate.
Go get yourself a gas mask,
Build yourself a bomb,
It's where you're at,
Not where you're from.
I find illumination,
Through all the devastation,
Alongside so-called miracles and more,
If science can discover,
That every man's a brother,
Will nature be revealed as a whore?
There are questions I'm afraid of,
Like what is it I'm made of?
But I will make the best use of what I've got,
If I had an idea,
Of why it is I'm sitting here,
I wouldn't waste my life being what I'm not,
But I'm wasting my life being what I'm not.
Although the threats we face,
Have much to do with faith and race,
You can’t deny the strongest case,
For peace will come through time and space,
And though the major powers-that-be,
Have failed to learn from history,
There’s more to this dichotomy
Than law.
With each sundown the less I care
For this existential nightmare,
I wish I could escape to where,
My world's not shaped by Bush and Blair,
But where on earth or where in hell is that?
I'd try and make some proper schools,
I'd definitely update the rules
By which you live and learn to co-exist,
Based on rationality
I'd erase nationality,
By now I hope that you have got the gist,
Because I have realised,
These words may get me stigmatised,
So I'm going to the pub, to get pissed.
